Our historic building sits on a beautiful fifteen-acre park, allowing us to accommodate events as small as ten and as large as 1,000.

Beyond our extraordinary building, we offer a Formal Garden, two Terraces, a stately Portico, and The Allman Pavilion.  We host events such as birthday parties, meetings, luncheons, teas, non-profit events, retirement parties, seminars, networking events, bridal luncheons, weddings and corporate parties. We can host lavish weddings for 500+ or intimate luncheons for ten. The flexibility of our space is as dynamic as our range of clients! We pride ourselves in our ability to accommodate you and your budget.

The Great Hall

With over 4,500 square feet of hardwoods, soaring architectural trusses and a beautiful Austin stone fireplace, The Laurel’s Great Hall transports your guests to an incredible Hill Country resort setting. The Great Hall may be divided into a smaller space, giving room for cocktails, catering, or staging as needed.

The Chapel

CEREMONIES

The Laurel’s beautiful chapel includes custom pews with leather seating for over 260 guests. The large trusses frame the beautiful window at the end of the aisle that looks into our evergreens.

The Lawn

Featuring a flagstone patio with an outdoor stone fireplace situated next to over 10,000 square feet of green space, The Lawn invites guests to leave the city far behind.

Magnolia Suite

The perfect place to relax and prepare for your extraordinary day, the Magnolia Suite features hardwood floors, a full-length mirror, six individual counter spaces, Bluetooth audio, and a restroom so guests never have to leave the comfort of the Suite.

Pecan Suite

Guests can relax while watching television and enjoying one of the many comfortable seating areas, from the overstuffed leather couch, to captains chairs that fill the room. Bluetooth audio is available, as well as storage and hooks for jackets and personal belongings.

The historic Ashton Depot (originally the Santa Fe Depot) was opened on March 1, 1899 in response to a growing demand for railroad service in Fort Worth. It has both witnessed and contributed to over a century of Texas memories. Built during a time when train lines were expanding cross-country and passenger travel was heavy, The Depot served as a relief for nearby stations and a victory in local architectural design. In the early days, passengers traveled for necessity, as trains or wagons were the primary modes of transportation, but by the 1920’s, rail stations were “roaring,” as was the rest of the country. Oil was booming, wealth abounded,and people began using train travel for leisure purposes.

In 1937 The Depot was renovated and “modernized” as part of an extensive program undertaken by the Fort Worth Union Passenger Station and the Santa Fe Railroad. The station served several lines until 1960, when the Santa Fe became the sole railroad using the facility. Amtrak operated passenger rail service out of the station between 1973 and 1995. Additionally, The Depot was listed both in the National Register of Historic Places and designated as a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark in 1970.

Today, the neoclassical Beaux Arts-Style terminal has been restored to its original beauty and distinctiveness. The original stained glass windows, barrel-vaulted ceilings, and marble floors are stunning, emanating an atmosphere of effortless style and grace. Although the name of the architect remains a mystery, we do know that the structure was built by the contracting firm of Smith and Bardon during the late 1800’s.

Now a full service event venue, The Ashton Depot boasts a creative and talented culinary & service team led by Executive Chef Cesar Gallegos. Whether you are hosting a wedding, engagement party, rehearsal dinner or a corporate event, gala, auction, or cocktail reception, The Ashton Depot is a beautiful and unique choice.
